“Each one should give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

GHH Emergency Aid works in war‑affected areas to help families and children in need, regardless of where they live, and who are in difficult situations. We have worked in several countries, such as Ukraine and Myanmar, providing emergency aid in conflict zones, evacuating refugees, delivering medications and medical equipment, as well as diesel generators and water filters.

DROPLETS OF WATER is a department that works with children and youth. We provide safe environments, faith, hope, and love to children affected by conflict and oppression in Myanmar and Thailand.

THE MOUNTAIN FOR EVERYONE provides support for people who rely on wheelchairs, giving them the opportunity to reach high mountain peaks. The goal is to show the incredible nature of Norway to those who could never do it on their own.

ROOM OF HOPE is a project in Latvia and Ukraine, run by volunteer Christians. We have helped families who cannot afford to renovate rooms for their children.
GIVE A HELPING HAND is a Norwegian charitable organization that works to support families and children in need, regardless of where they live or the difficult situations they face. Today, the organization has four different departments, each focusing on specific areas of work.
We have operated in several countries—for example, in Latvia and Ukraine with the “Room of Hope” project, in war‑affected areas of Ukraine providing emergency aid and evacuating refugees, and in Myanmar delivering emergency assistance and visiting refugee camps.
Our work in Ukraine began in 2015. Over the past two years, we have made 24 trips to the country, distributing food packages, water, clothing, power banks, diesel generators, and other types of emergency aid.
We have helped over 500 refugees from Ukraine to Norway, more than 150 people to Germany, 87 to Lithuania and Latvia, and over 200 people we have transported across the border to Poland.
Our work in Myanmar began in 2023. We visited the country three times during the year to witness the situation following the military coup. Our goal is to help people who are suffering there. We have visited refugee camps in Chin State and Mizoram in India, Karen State in Myanmar, and refugee camps in Thailand.
During our visits, we distributed medicine, oil, rice, and salt. Most importantly, we met many people and heard countless heartbreaking stories. On the frontlines in Karen State, we observed destroyed schools, houses, and land plots. Many villages have been abandoned. People in the area are living under constant airstrikes. Many lose family members or are injured every day. People hide. Children hide and attend school in the forest.
We realize that our aid is not enough, but we still want to share their stories with the outside world so they know they are not alone.
